Prospero Teaching are looking for a Primary and Secondary SEN teachers to join an experienced and supportive teaching team in the heart of Hillingdon.

A community special school located in Hillingdon, London, catering to children aged 5 to 16 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and complex medical needs. As of the latest available information, the school has a capacity of 180 pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Primary and Secondary SEN Teacher
  • 3rd March 2025 start
  • Duration: until the end of the academic year July 2025 (could extend to permanent, depending on performance)
  • Full time (Monday to Friday)
  • Pay to scale on daily rate
  • Hours - 8:15am - 4:15pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
