Prospero Teaching is seeking Primary and Secondary SEN teachers to join their supportive team in Hillingdon, London.
The position is full-time, starting on March 3, 2025, and will last until the end of the academic year in July 2025, with the possibility of extension to a permanent role.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the UK and hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
The salary is paid to scale on a daily rate, with working hours from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, Monday to Friday.
Applicants must have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate and provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years.

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Primary and Secondary SEN teachers to join an experienced and supportive teaching team in the heart of Hillingdon.

A community special school located in Hillingdon, London, catering to children aged 5 to 16 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and complex medical needs. As of the latest available information, the school has a capacity of 180 pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Primary and Secondary SEN Teacher
3rd March 2025 start
Duration: until the end of the academic year July 2025 (could extend to permanent, depending on performance)
Full time (Monday to Friday)
Pay to scale on daily rate
Hours - 8:15am - 4:15pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
