We are a vibrant Primary Mainstream School in Greenwich with a dedicated Autism Unit, looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with Autism and other special educational needs.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Support students in developing social skills and independence.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications or experience working with children with Autism.
A patient and empathetic approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the classroom.
An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
