Many of our members work to support the world’s most vulnerable communities, especially those living in places prone to natural hazards such as earthquakes and extreme flooding.If working as part of a staff team of about 74 people and alongside many of our members to address these issues appeals to you, then we would love to hear from you.The Role:The newly created Sponsorship Manager at the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) will become a pivotal role responsible for increasing ongoing commercial success through the management and delivery of sponsorship activities. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this role involves overseeing a portfolio of commercial activities, including webinars, briefings, and social media promotions for various external partners and sponsors.Key responsibilities include achieving an annual sponsorship target of £100,000, facilitating stakeholder engagement, providing operational support for the FindanEngineer platform, and managing both online and in-person sponsored events. The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams, identifying new business prospects, and maintaining robust relationships with sponsors and partners.The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven professional with excellent organisational and communication skills.
