Supply Teacher
Location: East London
Salary: £140 - £160 per day

Contract: Day to Day Cover

GSL Education are currently looking for Supply Teachers to join their team and work at some of the outstanding secondary schools in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Supply Teachers who are passionate about education and are looking to make a positive impact in a variety of school settings.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be expected to deliver high-quality lessons and provide support to students across different year groups. Whether you are seeking flexible working hours or are looking to gain experience in a range of secondary schools, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:

Delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Managing classroom behavior effectively and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Providing support to students and assisting with their learning needs.
Following the school's teaching plans and ensuring all work is covered.
Reporting back to school leadership regarding the day's activities.
Assisting students with any academic challenges during the lesson.

Requirements for a Supply Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
A passion for education and student development.
A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
