Job Opportunity: Surveillance Analyst (12-Month Contract)

Location: London
Day Rate: 562.49 via umbrella

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct post-trade, electronic communications, and telephone surveillance.
  • Review exceptions from surveillance tools, escalating where necessary.
  • Provide written reports on market abuse risks such as IPOs and mergers.
  • Ensure best execution for clients through trade surveillance.
  • Develop and present analysis on trading activities and market manipulation.
  • Maintain and enhance surveillance controls and procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure compliance.
  • Attend business committees and provide effective contributions.
  • Lead internal and external audit reviews.
  • Conduct daily sanctions screening and risk analysis.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Trading Hub and Bloomberg TCA.
  • Knowledge of global equity and fixed income derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of MNPI and market abuse risks.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
