The Technical Lead will oversee the design, development, and implementation of technological solutions in the Reinsurance Segment.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL Server, and related technologies, along with 3+ years of experience in 4GL technology, preferably PowerBuilder.
Key responsibilities include leading technical strategy, architecting technology solutions, and managing the software development lifecycle to ensure timely project delivery.

Technical LeadThe Position The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of technological solutions within the Reinsurance Segment. This role is critical in driving technical excellence, ensuring alignment with Lloyd’s, PRA, and FSA regulatory frameworks, and managing both in-house and outsourced development teams. You will function as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technology teams, ensuring delivery of robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions.Responsibilities:

Lead technical strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Architect, design, and implement technology solutions for underwriting, claims, policy administration, and reporting systems.
Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs, while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Desired Skills:

3+ years of experience in 4GL technology (PowerBuilder preferred).
5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL Server, and related technologies.
Proficiency in React, JavaScript, GraphQL, HTTP, REST, and SOAP.
Expertise in multi-tier applications, cloud computing, serverless architecture, and database design.
Strong DevOps knowledge, including CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
Experience with agile development (JIRA) and managing defects and enhancements.
Can speak the language of Underwriters / Actuaries
