Cegeka UK is seeking a Technical Lead for a 4-month contract with a UK Central Government client, focusing on tracking and verifying local naval activity.
The position is hybrid, requiring on-site work in Central London, and is inside of IR35 regulations.
Candidates should have domain knowledge in naval/maritime awareness and experience with complex tracking data integration.
Key responsibilities include conducting market analyses, leading back-end system identification, overseeing trials, and producing a Statement of Requirement for future procurement.
The role requires expertise in integration, trials planning, sensor coverage analysis, and a strong background in requirements capture, with a salary of £650 per day.

Cegeka UK are currently have a need for a Technical Lead, on behalf of our UK Central Government client. This is a 4-month contract, providing a key role within a commission focused around the identification and implementation of a means to track and verify local naval activity. Sitting inside of IR35, this is a hybrid role, with on-site requirements at our clients Central London site. Responsibilities:

Perform a market analysis of available technical solutions and suppliers, including assisting in supplier assessment and selection
Lead on identification of back-end systems and represent the integration authorit
Oversee trials throughout planning and execution stages, and analyse their outcome
Lead on the production of a Statement of Requirement (SoR) for a future system/service procurement

Skills and experience

Expertise in integration, including RF and multi-sensor, data networking and track formatting
Experience in trials planning and delivery, including location selection and permissions
Proficiency in analysing sensor coverage mapping and equipment siting
Strong background in requirements capture
Domain knowledge in naval/maritime awareness
