We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist, Environmental Products based in UK. Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Specialist, who will be home based, ideally living in the South of England, is primarily responsible for supporting the development of sales.
Position Details
- To support the business unit strategy, driving profitable growth
- Improves the product competitive position within the targeted channels; identifies and implements new opportunities with customer accounts
- Regularly communicates sales opportunities and works to develop the portfolio of customers
- Support bid and tender processes which are bespoke to the client requirements.
- Maintain good working relationships with existing customers and key accounts, looking to grow and develop business by understanding their needs
- Maintains and utilizes Salesforce database for opportunity tracking
- Maintain a commitment to the company’s values, business processes, and code of ethics
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate is ideally a degreed professional in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years proven sales experience working in a target driven environment.
- Highly proficient IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office, together with experience of using a CRM system e.g. Salesforce, Sales Achiever, as a management tool.
