Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Telematics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telematics systems, including multi cams, 360 cameras, and dash cams, in commercial vehicles. This is a field-based role covering the areas from South Birmingham down to Swindon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain telematics systems, including multi cams, 360 cameras, and dash cams, in commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to ensure system functionality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients.
  • Ensure all installations meet company and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and customer interactions.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their telematics needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest telematics technology and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in installing and maintaining telematics systems in commercial vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of multi cams, 360 cameras, and dash cams.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated area.
