The RoleReporting into the Timetable Lead Officer, you support in the production of the teaching timetable and provision of a room booking service.  You will allocate space ad resources to the timetable and resolve problems in the provision of teaching space.Previous timetabling experience is essential to this role along with Syllabus Plus/ S+ User experience.This is a full-time, Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week, 9am – 5pm role where you will be based on-site in North London for 3 days and working 2 days remotely.Benefits include:

Key duties:
  • To support the Timetabling Lead Officer in the compilation and publication of the teaching
  • Collection and modelling of timetable Scheduling rooms, staff and resources, working with Heads of Department, College Managers, and other academic colleagues.
  • Using problem solving and analytical skills to solve complex timetable queries, balancing the needs of academics and students with the space constraints of the School’s estate.
  • To prepare and oversee the running of School Room Audits including recruiting and managing temporary staff, operational management and collating room audit
  • Determine the appropriate response to email/phone enquires and questions about timetabling and room booking.
  • Maintain and update the timetable web pages, including publication of the live timetable pages.
  • Ensure that regular bookings are in place for School exams, open days, closures and maintenance work; including organisation and notification of room changes.
  • Oversee the Web Room Booking software on a day-to-day basis, organising weekly printed room timetables.
Essential experience / skills required:
  • Previous timetabling experience
  • Syllabus Plus/ S+ User experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
