- Provide hands-on support for Excel-based workflows, troubleshooting issues, managing add-ins, and handling quant library installations.
- Trace and resolve complex Excel formula issues and workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work with real-time data feeds, including market data, Bloomberg (BBG), Risk/Pvs, and Trade Blotter systems.
- Collaborate with traders to understand their challenges, identify solutions, and communicate progress clearly and effectively.
- Liaise with IT teams to articulate and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
- Use your knowledge of financial instruments (Futures, Swaps, Cross-Currency Swaps, FX Forwards) to support trading operations.
- Debug Python code, suggesting fixes and improvements as needed.
- Maintain a calm, professional approach under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment
- Previous experience in a similar trading environment.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas (nested formulas), data manipulation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with managing Excel add-ins and quant library setups.
- Exposure to real-time market data feeds and trading systems.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and trading instruments.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with traders and IT teams effectively.
- Basic Python programming skills, with the ability to debug and resolve issues.
- A proactive mindset, able to work autonomously and prioritize effectively in high-pressure situations.
