About the Role
KRG is delighted to be recruiting for a Trade PR Specialist (Account Manager or Senior Account Manager) on behalf of a leading, certified B-Corp PR agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PR professional to join the agency's trade team, working with high-profile food & beverage clients across foodservice, retail, and grocery sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Relations:
- Act as the primary client contact, managing a portfolio of high-profile food & beverage accounts. The majority of which are long-term, retained accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic trade PR campaigns, tailored to client objectives.
- Ensure exceptional client service through consistent communication and proactive updates.
- Media Relations:
- Build and nurture relationships with key trade and B2B journalists, particularly in foodservice, retail, and grocery.
- Create and pitch compelling narratives to secure impactful media coverage.
- Stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities for client exposure.
- Serve as day-to-day contact with journalists and influencers on client's behalf.
- Confidently answer journalist and influencers' questions, coordinate requests for product and interviews and provide useful information. Add strategic context, offering competitive comparison and long-term corporate positioning.
- Thorough knowledge of target media, and sharing that knowledge with junior staff.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and evaluate creative trade PR campaigns, ensuring measurable results.
- Write and edit press releases, feature articles, and other media content.
- Collaborate with creative teams to deliver innovative campaign materials.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Delegate effectively, ensuring smooth delivery of projects within deadlines.
- Event Management:
- Coordinate and manage trade events, product launches, and press briefings.
- Represent clients at key industry events, enhancing their visibility and influence.
- Performance Analysis:
- Track and report on campaign success, providing data-driven insights to clients.
- Propose optimisations and future strategies based on results.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven PR experience at Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level, within a PR agency.
- A strong background in B2B and trade PR, specifically within foodservice, retail, or grocery sectors.
- Established media relationships with key UK trade publications, chefs and journalists.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance creative thinking and results-driven approaches.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple accounts.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team and client relationships.
