Overview: Our client are an air and water treatment specialists with over 30 years' experience in  delivering air and water quality regimes to organisations of all sizes throughout the UK.  Working with contractors, consultants and on-site engineers, the business ensure that the

optimum solution is designed, implemented and maintained to meet our customers'  requirements.

This year the business has been acquired by a leading asbestos management consultancy,  and the merged businesses are looking to expand through geographical coverage and  through further diverse acquisitions. Together, the business covers leading football clubs,

universities, retailers, and even Parliament.

Due to continuous growth, the business has a requirement for a Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer to join the team.

Role and Responsibilities:
The Junior Air Hygiene Engineer will engage in a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting fire damper inspections and testing
  • Performing kitchen extract inspections and cleaning
  • Cleaning ductwork and ventilation systems
  • Conducting indoor air quality testing
  • Assisting with other related tasks as required

Requirements:

  • A basic understanding or prior experience in air hygiene tasks is desirable
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Flexibility to work out of hours when required
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred
