An outstanding opportunity has emerged for a skilled Underwriter to join this dynamic organisation, working directly with the Underwriting Director and Managing Director in a role that combines analytic expertise with commercial acumen.

Key ResponsibilitiesRisk Assessment & Underwriting Excellence
  • Lead complex risk assessments through detailed analysis of financial statements, banking positions, and supporting documentation
  • Craft comprehensive assessment reports and visit summaries, providing strategic recommendations for client acceptance
  • Set competitive rates and conditions, delivering precise quotations
  • Review and prepare bonds, policies and membership certificates for Managing Director approval
Portfolio Management & Client Relations
  • Build and nurture a thriving portfolio of clients
  • Deliver exceptional customer care across all client interactions
  • Guide clients through application processes with expert knowledge
  • Maintain strong relationships with intermediaries
  • Conduct periodic client risk assessments through site visits and detailed interviews
Leadership & Oversight
  • Provide direction and guidance to the underwriting assistant team
  • Ensure monitoring activities meet rigorous company standards
  • Set the benchmark for service excellence and risk management
Industry Analysis & Market Intelligence
  • Stay at the forefront of travel industry developments
  • Conduct detailed market research and analysis

  • Review and refine bond and policy documentation
