Your excellent organisational skills will be utilised as you effectively support the underwriting function, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures. Your attention to detail will be essential in capturing accurate underwriting data on systems, preparing documents for record keeping, conducting research, preparing reports, and providing general administrative support.* Contribute to the preparation and implementation of operational team plans* Provide effective support to the underwriting function while adhering to agreed processes and procedures* Maintain compliance at all times* Record and measure insurance risks to ensure accuracy and adherence to relevant performance standards* Respond professionally to internal and external stakeholder requests* Develop relationships with key stakeholders including customers, brokers, business partners and colleagues* Ensure accurate underwriting data is captured on systems* Prepare documents for record keeping* Conduct research and prepare reports to support the business planning process* Support the underwriting function through general administrationWhat you bring:* Experience of working in an insurance environment with a basic understanding of underwriting* Experience of working in a client service environment* Completion of Lloyds & London Market test (where relevant)* Good interpersonal and communication skills* Proficiency in MS Office applications e.g. Excel and other departmental software packages* Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines* Effective planning skills* Customer orientation* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment* Good attention to detailWhat sets this company apart:Our client is a leading, diversified specialty insurance and reinsurance company that responds thoughtfully and creatively to find the best outcomes for their clients and business partners through carefully tailored solutions.
