Our client, a leading Insurer has a requirement for a new colleague to join the Operational Support area to their Underwriting teams
Some London Market insurance experience is required, however, this need not be gained in underwriting - other London market business support function experience would also be welcomed and of benefit.
The main purpose of the role will be to provide a professional service to a range of Underwriters and be the first link between them and all other areas of business support - ensuring risks and any amendments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Strong systems ability is required - particularly Excel. In addition, candidates wishing to apply for this role should have excellent relationship building ability / communication skills and strong work ethic.
It should be noted that this role is an operational one rather than a specific business class and will not necessarily lead to a role as an underwriter
