I am currently working with a growing Top 40 accountancy firm currently seeking a US tax manager due to their large growth trajectory. This firm specialises in consulting high-net worth individuals and individuals from different jurisdictions, providing a high level of quality to their clients.This practice is very reputable for their friendly and supportive culture, offering hybrid working, comprehensive training, management skills, a competitive salary and wellbeing programme.This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and ambitious US tax candidate to build lasting client relationships, manage a portfolio of clients, increase your technical knowledge and progress in your tax career.Your role:

  • Manage a portfolio of US clients
  • Sign US tax returns (federal and state)
  • Review individual US tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Handle both the compliance and advisory for the portfolio
  • Stay up to date on US tax for research and advice
  • US tax reporting
  • Build and maintain relationships with both clients and colleagues.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience within US tax
  • EA or CPA qualified (or part qualified)
  • Previously a signer for US tax returns
  • Strong technical US tax knowledge
  • Ability to produce a high quality of work
  • Previous experience mentoring junior members of the team.
