Are you an experienced Vascular Sonographer looking for your next role in South East London? Hunter AHP is currently recruiting for a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join a well-established NHS trust on a locum basis.

Role Overview:
  • Position: Vascular Sonographer
  • Location: South East London area 
  • Pay Rate: £33 - £45 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Contract Type: Locum, Full-time/Part-time options available
  • Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound scans for vascular procedures
  • Interpret and report on results, collaborating with medical teams for patient care
  • Carry out assessments of arterial, venous, and Doppler ultrasound studies
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental protocols and NHS guidelines
  • Provide support to patients throughout the scanning process
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • HCPC registered Vascular Sonographer
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in vascular ultrasound scanning
  • Strong knowledge of vascular imaging techniques (including arterial, venous, and Doppler)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • NHS experience is preferred but not essential
