Our client is seeking a Ward Manager to provide Clinical Management and Leadership to the combined nursing team.

Main duties:

  • Manages the combined ward and resources effectively
  • Supervising the clinical team
  • Acting as a leader and creating a good cultural environment
  • Compliance monitoring
  • Ensuring good CAMHS procedures and processes are in place
  • Contribute to recruitment within the team
  • Develop strong working relationships / key stakeholder engagement
  • Deputising for the Director of Clinical Services as required.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities including clinical audits for their combined CAMHS wards and the site
  • Induction training and recruitment events

Requirements:

  • Registered with either NMC- with background of working experience within CAMHS inpatient services would be desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health clinical setting (CAMHS)
  • Must show evidence of continuing professional development
  • Previous experience of completing clinical audits within the department
