The Opportunity

It is an exciting time for The Water Industry and for Stantecs role within it. You willjoin our established team based in the Southern region working on a variety of projects focused on catchment growth, identifying and reducing flood risks and improving water quality for our clients alongside seeking opportunities for stakeholder engagement and partnership working. The work is centred around a thorough knowledge of urban drainage and its role within the wider water cycle and urban landscape.

You will deliver projects which improve water quality, manage urban pollution, and contribute to Stantecs and our clients environmental commitments.

We believe that innovation is central to delivery and value your input to maintaining our position at the forefront of developing digital solutions and smart applications together with of industry recognised specialist such as Chris Digman and Elliot Gill.

ABOUT YOU

We would love to hear from you if you share our ambition.

We expect that you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in in a relevant subject and be an active member of your chosen professional institution. You will have previous experience delivering successful projects and leading teams in an urban drainage environment and a desire to build both your own and your teams knowledge and capability. Successful candidates will demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage management activities and a full working knowledge of modelling, within and beyond InfoWorks ICM.

Your role will be varied and include the leading, planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance and best practices are upheld. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills through mentoring, report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry.

You will have experience in the management and development of staff as well as the ability to integrate with and beyond our urban drainage community drawing on the multiple skill required for urban drainage projects. As an integral part of our technical team you will demonstrate leadership to colleagues.
