They are looking for a Workforce Planning / Resourcing Manager to help shape the future of rail operations in London.What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee the entire rostering process across all rostered grades, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop cost-effective, customer-oriented rosters while managing manpower planning and timetable changes.
  • Support pay talks, maintain cost neutrality, and drive revenue-generating changes.
  • Lead and mentor the resourcing team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
  • Respond to exceptional events like industrial action or timetable changes, implementing contingency plans.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
What They’re Looking For:
  • Strong educational background (A-Level or equivalent) and experience in rostering, crew management, or resource planning.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with rostering systems like TRACS Roster, Crew Plan.
  • In-depth knowledge of rail industry operations, Network Rail, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience, with a focus on continuous improvement.
