Workplace AV Technology Engineer required by an award-winning socially conscious professional services organisation based in Central London and paying up to £55k. Currently established as a leading company in their sector, they are looking for an experienced individual with a high understanding of managing the deployment and support of conferencing systems (Teams, Zoom, Webex) and building management systems (Spacebooking/smart lockers). Due to the seniority of this position, you will be the escalation point for the AV Technician providing experienced insight and support.
The Workplace AV Technology Engineer will join a team of 16, providing general Office Team support and ensure the Meeting Room Audio/ Video Conferencing facilities run smoothly. You will configure smartphone, tablet and laptop devices and assist with new hardware and software installations.This senior position will be the escalation point for a wide range of AV systems which will involve both configuration and integration of the whole AV systems.
Experience within building management systems would be extremely beneficial in this role, due to the "SMART" environment they have within their surroundings, inclusive of space-booking systems as well as smart lockers.
Responsibilities
- Managing the deployment and support of conferencing systems (Teams, Zoom, Webex)
- Ensuring all AV systems are maintained and operating smoothly
- Troubleshooting any issues with Hardware/Software
- Coordinate with third party vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support the AV Technician and providing experienced input
- Implement and manage Teams policies, Security
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in IT Support dealing with AV Technologies
- Expertise within meeting room technologies and AV equipment
- Experience with room and desk booking systems (App-space or GoBright)
- Understanding of administrating building management systems (BMS)
- Excellent communication skills
