As a WTG Installation Lead, you will need to :

Assist, in the form of a technical consultant, the quality inspections of incoming/outgoing material, the installation, assembly, and maintenance of wind turbine projects with respect to time schedule, budget and quality standard requirement of the client and end-customer

Receiving and inspecting of major components on site, reporting damages and documenting status of components at the point of arrival to site. (Fill in findings in the transport documentation such as CMR, bill of landing and sign if authorized).

Assist in the resolution of technical difficulties with components and initiate any require resolution processes with the client and end-customers technical representatives

Serve as main interface between installation contractors and the clients Engineering team

Manage general project documentation, as well as the continuous update of any end customer specific planning tools required to document project progress

Stop the line when considered contrary to the health and safety considerations of site personnel

Comply with any Environmental Health and Safety, Working and/or other applicable regulations/guidelines required by either the client, end- customer or governing law

Manage project specific spare parts container, tool container and lifting devices

Actively take part in the continuous improvement process of the client processes, products, training material and quality standards

Assist the site manager/leader or fully represent the site manager/leader in their absence according to the clients guidelines

Be prepared and willing for shift-work and on-call duty and travel if required

It is to be noted that the installation lead / supervisor acts as a technical consultant and is therefore not to be classified as an assembly worker.
