Your Responsibilities as a Year 6 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that prepare pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school.
- Use creative teaching methods to motivate and challenge Year 6 students.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring all students achieve their potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the year group to share best practices and resources.
What We're Looking for in a Year 6 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
- A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage pupils.
- A team player who is committed to collaboration and continuous professional development.
