Our client a charity that provides healthcare support to children and young people is seeking a P/T Corporate and Community Fundraiser to join their team. Reporting to the Development Director you will take a strategic and operational lead responsibility across (South) London for the Corporate and Community Fundraising of the Charity.

Role responsibilities:

  • Work with the Development Director to develop and deliver the fundraising strategy - focus on event, challenge and community fundraising in (South) London, ensuring achievement of agreed targets for net income and fundraising ratios.
  • Recruit and deploy a volunteer fundraising team.
  • Help develop regular donors/donations to the charity.
  • Run fundraising events and challenges and gain maximum support and participation from the community.

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with strong IT skills.
  • Excellent at partnership development, including within the Corporate Sector.
  • Organise fundraising events and challenges and gain maximum support and participation from the local community.
  • Recruit, manage and support a small but growing team of volunteer fundraisers and local ambassadors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, target driven individual who is keen to develop a career within fundraising. Whilst experience in fundraising would be advantageous, we would love to hear from people with transferable skills and experience. You must have a proactive mindset with the ability to identify and maximise opportunities. This position is initially fully remote based, but hybrid working can be made available.
