SEMH Teacher Opportunity in Islington
GSL Education is searching for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a vibrant school in Islington from September 2024. This is a long-term contract role offering a competitive salary ranging from £145 to £230 per day. If you have a passion for working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and can handle challenging behaviour, this role could be your perfect fit.
Your Role: As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Your experience in a SEN school setting will enable you to adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your students, fostering both their academic and personal growth.
What We Are Looking For:
- Challenging Behaviour Management: Proven experience in effectively managing challenging behaviour is essential.
- SEN Experience: Ideally, you have a background in working within SEN school settings, particularly with students who have SEMH needs.
- Adaptability and Patience: The ability to remain calm and patient while adapting your teaching approach to suit individual learning needs.
