Role Highlights:
- Therapeutic Education Practitioner position in London, starting immediately
- Full-time, temporary long-term role, 8.30 am 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday
- Travel expenses covered within working hours, plus lunch expenses when with students
- Regular CPD, meetings, and resources provided on Fridays at The Boathouse Studios, Barking
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students, building trust and resilience
- Lead community-based sessions, with flexibility to travel across London as needed
- Maintain professional boundaries while fostering healthy, therapeutic relationships
- Engage with project-based learning groups, supporting varied educational needs
- Experience with young people with SEMH, ACEs, ASC, sensory, or communication difficulties
- Trauma-informed understanding of therapeutic education and behavioural support
- Solution-focused, resilient, and reflective approach
- Strong relationship-building skills, with an emphasis on creating positive change
- Ability to travel as required, with reliable attendance at the Barking hub for Friday sessions
