Sonic Summary

A Tester specializing in SEPA/Instant Payments/OPF is needed for a contract position at an investment bank in London.
The role requires strong knowledge of SEPA Instant protocols and proven experience in integration testing, particularly with TIPS.
Candidates should have excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various stakeholders.
The position is hybrid and operates inside IR35 on an umbrella basis, with a competitive salary offered.
A minimum of several years of relevant experience in payment systems testing is required for this role.

Tester - SEPA/Instant Payments/OPF - Contract - sought by investment bank based in London - Hybrid*inside IR35 - umbrella*Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough testing of payment systems, focusing on SEPA Instant protocols.
Validate messages and ensure they comply with established standards and protocols.
Perform integration testing with external systems, including TIPS (TARGET Instant Payment Settlement).
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
Ensure all testing activities are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of SEPA Instant protocols.
Domain expertise in OPF payment systems.
Experience with message validation and message protocols.
Proven experience in integration testing with external systems, particularly TIPS.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
