As the company continues to grow, they are looking to recruit a Skilled Maintenance Gardener to join their dedicated team.

The Role

This is an exciting, hands-on position where you will work closely with the Maintenance Team Leader, maintaining high-end domestic gardens. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive attitude. While industry experience is required, a desire to learn and grow within the company is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General garden maintenance, including weeding, seasonal pruning, and planting.
  • Hedge cutting to a high standard.
  • Lawn care, including mowing and border edging.
  • Watering and maintaining irrigation systems.
  • Installation and repair of irrigation systems.
  • Planting of annuals and bulbs to enhance garden aesthetics.
  • Assisting the Maintenance Team Leader in ensuring gardens reach their full potential.
  • Keeping company vehicles clean, stocked, and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong horticultural knowledge (a recognised qualification is desirable).
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of gardening tools and machinery.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Full UK drivers licence is essential.

SALARY: £32,000 DOE
