J Squared Solutionsis pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client for the position of aCommercial or Domestic Gas Engineerbased in Milton Keynes. This is afull-time, on-site rolewith an attractive salary package of50,000 per annum.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work on a variety of gas engineering tasks, includinginstallations, maintenance, and repairof plumbing and heating systems in either commercial and domestic settings. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and safety at client locations, providing expert support across multiple sectors including private customers, housing associations, letting agents, facilities management companies, and landlords.
Key Responsibilities
- Performplumbing and heating system installations, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
- Respond to emergency calls and complete reactive maintenance as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other team members when necessary to complete larger projects.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to regulatory standards and meetHealth & Safetyrequirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Plumbing and Gas Safe qualificationswith experience in either commercial or domestic environments.
- Strong experience inpipe maintenanceand repair.
- Excellentcustomer serviceskills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Relevant industry certifications such asGas Safe Registered(or willingness to become registered).
- A solid understanding ofHealth & Safety regulations.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
