Job Title:Domestic Gas Engineer
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Traveling: Within a 10-12 mile radius
Commission/OTE:£300 - £500 per month (potential to earn after 2-3 months)
Profit Sharing:40% of profits exceeding targets to cover wages and fixed costs
Work Model:On-Site
Hours:08:00 - 17:30 (Monday Friday)

About the Role
As a seasoned Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our client's business, engaging with customers in their homes. Your role will not only require technical expertise but also the ability to build trust and lasting relationships with customers. You will work collaboratively with the team to navigate technical challenges and ensure customers feel confident in your solutions. With a strong work ethic and pride in your craft, you'll ensure each customer experiences the highest levels of service and satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle reports, invoices, and quotations
- Plan and execute work on residential properties
- Build and maintain customer relationships by offering expert solutions tailored to individual needs
- Installing gas appliances (boilers, heaters, cookers)
- Ensuring gas installations meet safety standards and regulations
- Diagnosing faults and issues in gas systems
- Repairing faulty gas appliances, boilers, and heating systems
- Conducting gas safety checks and issuing Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations
- Maintaining detailed records of installation, service, and repair work
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Plumbing (required)
- 5 years of experience in Gas/Heating (required)
- CCN1 Domestic Gas Safety qualification for boilers, cookers, and gas fires (required)
- Valid UK Drivers Licence (no more than 6 points)
- Strong communication skills for daily customer interactions
- Experience using iPhones is preferred
