The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team, covering London and the surrounding Home Counties. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced gas engineer to work on a variety of commercial and residential sites, delivering high-quality gas maintenance and installation services.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas systems, including boilers, heaters, and associated equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on gas appliances to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Conducting gas safety checks and issuing relevant certification in line with regulations.
- Installing and commissioning new gas systems and appliances.
- Ensuring all work complies with current health and safety standards and gas regulations.
- Managing and prioritizing workloads effectively to meet service deadlines.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and providing detailed reports.
- Responding to emergency call-outs and breakdowns as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer in a mobile role.
- Relevant gas qualifications, including ACS (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1) and Gas Safe registration.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and residential gas systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the Home Counties.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
