Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical LNG Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the LNG market, strong quantitative skills, and a passion for delivering actionable insights that drive decision-making. This role involves monitoring market trends, analyzing data, and supporting trading and commercial teams with in-depth research and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis
- Conduct detailed analyses of global LNG markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and trade flows.
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors impacting LNG markets.
- Track and analyze developments in LNG infrastructure, such as terminals, pipelines, and shipping.

Data Management & Reporting
- Gather, manage, and interpret large datasets related to LNG markets.
- Develop and maintain analytical models to forecast prices, demand, and supply trends.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Trading Support
- Collaborate closely with traders to provide timely market intelligence and strategic insights.
- Evaluate trading opportunities by analyzing arbitrage potential, shipping costs, and contract structures.
- Support risk management efforts by identifying market risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with market participants, including suppliers, buyers, and analysts.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to gather market intelligence.

Regulatory & Policy Monitoring
- Stay informed about regulatory developments impacting the LNG industry.
- Assess the potential impact of policy changes on trading activities and market dynamics.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in LNG markets, energy trading, or commodity analysis.
- Strong understanding of LNG supply chains, contracts (e.g., FOB, DES, SPA), and pricing mechanisms.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Python, or Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with trading desks or market intelligence teams.
- Familiarity with LNG shipping and freight markets.
- Knowledge of key LNG trading hubs, indices, and pricing benchmarks (e.g., JKM, TTF, Henry Hub).
