Graphic Design Manager - £55,000 per annum

North London - Permanent, full-time - Office - NO Hybrid

An innovative graphic designer with a passion for pushing creative boundaries and the ability to inspire and elevate a team of talented designers is what we're looking for in a progressive role in a design studio. This position offers the opportunity to take the creative reins and work closely with the Creative Director to shape the studio's design vision and drive creative excellence.

The Role

This is a pivotal role where you will translate bold creative ideas into impactful design solutions. You will be leading a team of designers and artworkers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. With a global presence, our client is renowned for their quality and innovation, continually aiming to set industry standards and exceed expectations!

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a cutting-edge design vision that enhances and aligns with the brand identity across multiple platforms.
  • Be hands-on in overcoming complex design challenges with practical solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers.
  • Take ownership of creative outputs, ensuring high-quality design across posters, POS, layouts, packaging, digital marketing, social media, exhibitions, and product launches.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to interpret and implement feedback effectively to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timelines and budgets without compromising creativity.

Profile:

  • Proven leadership experience in a design-focused role, managing and mentoring creative teams.
  • Expertise in graphic design, including typography, branding, and layout.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to articulate design rationale.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma.
  • Ability to align creative work with broader business and marketing strategies.
