Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on procurement projects in the IT category covering the likes of cyber security, end user services, infrastructure, and customer experience. Opportunities to look at corporate services categories too if desired such as finance, HR, legal etc.
  • Managing c.10m in IT spend annually
  • Lead negotiations and run the full contract lifecycle end to end
  • Opportunity Assessment - Proactive in identifying procurement opportunities and building stakeholder relationships
  • Support on spend reporting and classifications
  • Medium and tail end spend ownership

Key Skills:

  • Ideally at least a year's experience in Procurement in a large business
  • Indirect or IT procurement experience or the desire to get into the IT category
  • Project Management skills - able to manage multiple projects and deliver at pace
  • Ambitious and fast learner
  • Strong interpersonal skill-set - able to build lasting relationships and influence these
  • Adaptable approach
  • An understanding of how to run a procurement project end to end
  • CIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification
