The Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled Small Works Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team, covering London and the M25 region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fire alarm engineer to carry out small works installations, upgrades, and modifications to fire alarm systems in a variety of commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, commissioning, and upgrading fire alarm systems in line with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conducting small works projects including system modifications, extensions, and upgrades.
• Ensuring all fire alarm systems are compliant with relevant fire safety regulations.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with fire alarm systems.
• Liaising with clients and project managers to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Providing technical advice and recommendations for system improvements.
• Maintaining accurate records of installations, modifications, and maintenance work.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, regulations, and industry standards.
• Relevant qualifications such as FIA units or equivalent in fire alarm installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to travel across London and the M25 region.
