Hair and Beauty Specialist

Hair and Beauty Tutor Opportunity - 1:1, North London

I am currently seeking hair and beauty specialists to help support a few young people I have in the Islington area.

The young people I am currently working with have SEN needs including SEMH, Autism, and ADHD. It is important that you are able to adjust sessions and structure them in ways that suit the young person's needs and will allow them to engage to ensure they get the most out of the tuition that you provide.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location - Within the community
• Position - Qualified hair and beauty specialists
• Type of Work - Contract
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement or until target grades have been achieved
• End date - Ongoing
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full-time/part-time - Part-time
• Minimum rate of pay - £25 - £30 per hour.
• Hours - Working hours can differ, depending on the convenient timings of the student's needs.

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Hair and Beauty Specialist:

• Hair and Beauty Qualifications are mandatory
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience
• Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
