As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting senior surveyors with a range of building surveying services. Your responsibilities will span both residential and commercial sectors, offering you exposure to various aspects of the profession and opportunities to develop a diverse skill set. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of building surveys, reports and schedules of condition.
- Supporting the delivery of dilapidation assessments and project management tasks.
- Preparing specifications and tender documents.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout projects.
- Providing assistance in contract administration and project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and to budget.
- Regular site inspections and reporting back on progress, defects, and other key project elements.
Key Requirements:
- An RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying.
- Some experience in a building surveying role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- An eagerness to progress towards your APC with strong support from the company.
- A keen interest in building surveying across both commercial and residential sectors.
