Handyman

Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm (or 8am - 5pm for the right candidate)

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to ensure the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of a prestigious residential development. This is a hands-on, varied role that requires a strong multi-trade skillset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.

The Role:

  • Carry out general site maintenance tasks, both indoors and outdoors, as directed by the Management team.

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements on electrical and plumbing fixtures, fittings, appliances, and decor, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the building to ensure all fixtures, fittings, and equipment are in good working order.

  • Respond promptly and efficiently to reported defects from residents and staff.

  • Coordinate with and assist contractors and suppliers when on-site.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong multi-trade background, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, small construction/repairs, painting & decorating, and general maintenance.

  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive, professional, and friendly attitude.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within high-end residential developments, luxury hotels, or similar environments.

  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds) are preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
