Location: North & East London
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Company:
Our client is a well-established supported living service provider, dedicated to offering safe and comfortable housing for vulnerable individuals. They manage around 10 sites across North and East London, ensuring all properties are well-maintained and fit for purpose.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative / Handyman to support multiple sites across North and East London. This role involves carrying out general maintenance and repairs to ensure properties are kept in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in general property upkeep and be comfortable working across multiple locations. Some sites are within a 25-minute drive from each other.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance, including changing light bulbs, repairing door locks, and minor plumbing tasks.
Carry out painting, decorating, and general touch-ups as required.
Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, cabinets, and other fixtures.
Assist with general property upkeep to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Respond to repair requests from site managers in a timely manner.
Work independently and efficiently to complete tasks across multiple sites.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role.
Good knowledge of general building maintenance and repair work.
Ability to work across multiple locations within North and East London.
Full UK driving licence preferred; having your own vehicle would be ideal (running costs covered).
Tools can be provided if required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
