We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyperson to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of repair and maintenance skills, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is primarily based in East London, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential buildings, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
  • Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues and ensure all facilities are well-maintained.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Assist in larger maintenance projects as needed.
  • Drive the company vehicle to transport tools and equipment to various sites.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Own tools are a plus.
