Our client is looking for a Handyperson to join their team in London, who specialise in building maintenance within commercial and residential properties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment.

You would be working for a passionate, dedicated, trustworthy, transparent, and caring company, who believe that this allows everyone to fulfil their potential and enjoy the work they do, creating a great work ethic and team culture.

Main duties include, but not limited to:

• General Maintenance / Handyperson duties

• Blind repairs

• Installation of hatches

• Installation of carpet tiles

• Installation of stair nosing’s

• Assisting other trades and gaining skill training

• Building furniture

• Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.

• Completion of work sheets via our mobile app

• This is a mobile role

Skills / Experience Required:

· A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.

· Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.

· A HSE understanding

· Full UK Driver’s License (not essential)

· Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone

· Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard

· A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.

· City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
