TecRec are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a Mechanical, Electrical and Maintenance Contractor based in Essex.

You will be based out of the Chelmsford office but will be required to travel into London while visiting sites.

As the Mechanical Estimator you will work both alone and within a team preparing mechanical estimate of values up to £2m.

Duties:

Providing estimates, budgets, and pricing for mechanical construction projects

Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard.

Review project drawings and specifications to determine the overall cost.

Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from mechanical specialists.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering options

Liaising with other members of the team and project managers to understand project requirements

Develop working relationships with in-house and external consultants, main contractors, and clients to establish communication paths.

Salary Package includes:

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum
