Monday to Friday; 8am to 4pm
Profile
We are currently recruiting for a Handyman to help with the refit at a FMCG, food manufacturing company.
If you're mechanically inclined and handy with tools you'd be a perfect fit! It's an interesting role with plenty of variety
The work will be mainly outside but you should be capable of working to a clean and high standard and able to work to tight deadlines and on your own initiative. You will be expected to do some basic welding, fabrication, riveting, painting, fitting, heavy lifting etc.
Flexibility is an essential part of the role as the successful candidate may be expected to cover weekends.
·Understanding of health and safety and its application to the working environment.
·Knowledge of building maintenance such as changing light bulbs, plumbing, use of power tools, woodwork riveting and general repairs.
·Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
·Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures.
·Regular manual handling lifting up to a maximum of 25kg.
