Floor Layer

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join our team in Islington. The role involves carrying out day-to-day flooring installation and maintenance, ensuring high-quality workmanship across a range of flooring types. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional seeking regular work with a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for flooring installation, including screeding, levelling, and underlay fitting.
Install various types of flooring, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, wood, and tiles.
Carry out repairs and maintenance to existing flooring.
Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and company guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, handling materials and tools efficiently.
Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks to a high standard.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Floor Layer, with expertise in multiple flooring types.
Strong knowledge of floor preparation, installation techniques, and materials.
Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
