We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care within our organisation across supported living and residential settings. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that all care standards are met, particularly for residents with dementia and other care needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high standards of care.
  • Manage resident care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual needs and regularly reviewed.
  • Foster a positive environment for both residents and staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Handle any concerns or complaints from residents or their families promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
  • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to within the facility.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff members.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in senior care or a similar role within a supported living setting is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to resident interactions.
