Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a Deputy Manager for our Nursery, this would ideally suit someone that Has previous experience working with children in a supervisory, room leader or deputy managerial role and is passionate about working with children.

Alongside either BA in early years education from UK or overseas University, or CACHE/NVQ/ BTEC Level 3 in childcare and earlyyears education or Montessori TeachingQualification.

Starting salary: 35,000- 37,000pa + paid holidays, excellent further training and career progression opportunities.

Job Description Include:

  • Deputy Managerial duties and responsibilities and interacting with children and ensuring safety and well- being of them at all times
  • Overseeing planning and implementing creative and learning activities for them in line with EYFS (early years foundation stages)
  • Assist the Nursery Manager with theeffective day-to-day management of the nursery.
  • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receiverich and stimulating experiencesappropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Promote and developopen and positiveworking relationships with staff and children, families.
  • Support, supervise, and appraise all staff to ensure delivery ofhigh-quality childcare practice.
  • Support the Nursery Manager toidentify training needs; training plansby staff.
  • Maintaineffective methods of communicationwith children, staff, parents, and carers.
