About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Curriculum Manager to teach and lead our Applied Science provision on a full-time, permanent basis. The area currently consists of over 160 students completing a BTEC Level 1, 2 or 3 in Applied Science.
The post holder would be expected to:
- Lead the team and line manage teaching members of staff
- Develop and deliver courses that enable adults to achieve BTEC Level 3 qualifications
- Act as a course tutor for one or more programmes.
- Support students effectively in all aspects of their learning, monitor and address attendance issues and develop interventions for struggling learners.
- Manage resources to successfully deliver an outstanding curriculum
About you:
- You will have previous experience of leading a team
- A track record of achieving results above national benchmarks
- You will have demonstrable experience of teaching related courses
- Your lesson observation feedback is consistently very good or outstanding
