Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership:Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and attendance.
- Policy Management:Oversee the creation and enforcement of behaviour and attendance policies.
- Staff Development:Train and support staff in behaviour management techniques and attendance monitoring.
- Student Support:Work closely with students, parents, and external agencies to address behavioural and attendance issues.
- Data Analysis:Monitor and analyse behaviour and attendance data to inform interventions and policy adjustments.
- Safeguarding:Ensure all safeguarding policies are adhered to and promote a safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Experience:Proven experience in a leadership role within a secondary school setting, with a focus on behaviour and attendance.
- Skills:Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate both staff and students.
- Knowledge:In-depth understanding of current educational policies and practices related to behaviour and attendance.
- Commitment:A strong commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
