We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Headteacher to lead our new Islamic Education Centre based in Neasden, North West London. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the education experience of our students, aged 8 to 16, while ensuring that our curriculum reflects both Islamic values and the National Curriculum.

Position Details:- Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum- Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 11am to 8pm- Location:Neasden, North West London- Student Age Group: 8 to 16 years old- Students: Approximately 100 to 200 students

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of educational programs that integrate Islamic values with the UK National Curriculum.- Provide strong leadership and strategic direction for the teaching staff, fostering a positive, high-achieving learning environment.- Oversee the day-to-day management of the centre, including staffing, timetabling, and student progress.- Ensure the well-being and pastoral care of students, maintaining a nurturing and inclusive environment for all learners.- Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and the wider community.- Monitor and assess student performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.- Ensure the centre complies with all safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements (including Ofsted standards).- Lead staff recruitment, training, and development, ensuring teaching staff are well-supported and empowered to succeed.

Candidate Requirements:- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within an Islamic school, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.- Proven experience in managing and developing educational programs in alignment with both Islamic values and the UK National Curriculum.- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent.- Strong knowledge of both Islamic and mainstream UK education systems.- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.- A passion for delivering high-quality education and fostering student development.
